Happy belated birthday to Rituparno Ghosh..!!
The director had a wonderful birthday present from his “The Last Lear” team, like Preity Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan. Hmm, I wonder what present they gave to Ghosh? Turned out, they finally finished all dubbings for the film by the special day.
A Preity said to describe the dubbing process: “Difficult isn’t the word,” However, what Ghosh didn’t know was Preity and the rest of the cast including Amitabh Bachchan, who had to dub the toughest Shakespearean lines of his career, had secretly set a deadline.
Ghosh, who celebrated his 44th birthday last Friday, has finally finished all the dubbing and ready to go back to Kolkata.
The team also sent Rituparno back to Kolkata with personally signed messages on the script. “Those messages are too personal to be published. But the love for my team, I’ll never forget it.”
