Jodhaa Akbar next year

A movie called Jodhaa Akbar is scheduled for its release on January 25, 2008. The delaying of this epic romance movie is due to many things, like Aishwarya’s wedding and her honeymoon. Moreover, the director, Ashtosh Gowariker had a rough time getting permit from the Animal Welfare Board to use elephants and other animals for the movie.
Jodhaa Akbar itself is a 16th century story about a marriage of alliance that gave birth to true love between the greatest Mughal emperor that ruled Hindustan, Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar (Hrithik Roshan), and the fiery young Rajput princess, Jodhaa (Aishwarya Rai).
The movie is produced by UTV Motipn Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions.
