The Muslim scriptwriter Of Mahabharata series passwed away last Thursday following a brief illness. Ali Raza, his popular name, reached the top of his career in Bollywood with movie Andaaz..played by Raj Kapoor.

The film was the first movie about love triangle in Bollywood history.

Raza also had won the Filmfare Award for the best dialogue writer category for Saraswatichandra.

He died in his early 80s.
