Last Tuesday (July 10) The Simpsons Family is back to screen. Springfield, Vermont is chosen to be the host of the premiere.
As the winning town of the contest held by Twentieth Century Fox partnered with USA TODAY’s Web site, the premiere will take place at their own Springfield Movie Theatre on July 21, with the movie’s filmmakers stopping by to walk the yellow carpet! Fourteen Springfields across the nation competed for the honor by submitting fan-made videos displaying their enthusiasm for all things “Simpsons.”
Twentieth Century Fox partnered with USA TODAY’s Web site for the contest, on which all 14 videos were posted for viewers to watch and vote for their favorite.

Out of 109,582 total votes, Vermont’s Springfield logged the most with 15,367 by the time voting ended last night at 11:59 PM.
