Hollywood Shoot part of My Film Blogs Channel

I know this is not a newest movie, but I just cannot to not talk about The Holiday. At first glance, the story reminds me of a book called Tara Road by Maeve Binchy, about two women exchanges their houses. Howeverr, The Holiday isn’t completely the same as Tara Road.

Meet Amanda Wood (Cameron Diaz)s, a movie trailer maker, who just broke up from her boyfriend and she needed a place to be alone and try to cry. And there’s Iris Simpkins (Kate Winslet), who felt so heart broken by her long time crush, so she needed time to get over him.

There’s also Jude Law who played as Graham Simpskins (Iris’ brother) who happened to fall in love with Amanda. Meanwhile there’s Miles (Jack Black), Amanda’s friend, who slowly has some kind of feeling toward Iris.

Ok, here’s my confession:

Jude Law is amazingly totally handsome and dashing with his English accent in The Holiday. I don’t know is it because Jude Law, the story line itself, or just the characters that I love in this movie.

Must watch…definitely!
