National Treasure to beat The Enchanted
It’s about a fortune seeker played by Nicholas Cage, a lonely guy by Will Smith and a bunch of chatter box chipmunks who closed 2007 in Hollywood movie industry pleasantly.
Nicholas Cage with his National Treasure: Book of Secrets topped the rank in the movie list with $35.6 million, followed by Alvin and the Chipmunks with $30 million and tailed by Will Smith in I Am Legend with $27.5 million.
For the estimated ticket sales for the other movies through Sunday in American and Canadian theaters, according to Media By Numbers LLC. Final figures are as followed: 1. “Charlie Wilson’s War,” $11.8 million.
“Juno,” $10.3 million.
“Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem,” $10.05 million.
“The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep,” $9.2 million.
“P.S. I Love You,” $9.1 million.
“Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,” $8 million.
“Enchanted,” $6.5 million.
