Obama and Bradd: Family Ties

I’m not being racist..I’m not even an American citizen. However, I support Barack Obama for the next American President. I think Americans themselves are divided between Hillary and Obama.
Just recently, Obama in a way said to Joy Behar in “The View” on last Thursday that he’s related to Brad Pitt! Don’t know whether this is true or not, but when Joy asked “Are you related to Brad Pitt?”
Obama answered lightly, saying “I guess we’re ninth cousins, something removed – or something.”
Hmmm, something?? Anyway, from a recent finding by The New England Historic Genealogical Society, Pitt and Obama are ninth cousins, linked by Edwin Hickman, who died in Virginia in 1769.
Well, it’s up to you to decide…is it true or Obama just playing along the rumour?
