South Korean actress Jeon Do-yeon returned home Tuesday after winning the award for Best Actress at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
Jeon won the coveted award for her gripping performance with co-star Song Kang-ho in the movie “Secret Sunshine,” directed by Lee Chang-dong.
Jeon is the second South Korean actress to win top laurels at an international film festival. The first went to Kang Soo-yeon for her performance in the movie “Surrogate Mother” at the 1987 Venice Film Festival.

When i saw UNTOLD SCANDALS(her movie with bae yoong jun) i think she was pretty lucky (act with the most handsome man in Asia a.k.a Bae yoong Jun) but now what i’ve said 4 this MORE THAN LUCKY . . . .
