Kim Ah Joong in Vietnam: We’re here to listen

Korean movie star Kim Ah Joong, who has been very successful with the movie 200 Pounds Beauty, is now in Vietnam on the occasion of the Korean Film Week and she had a talk with the local press on May 30. She expects to have a cooperation with Vietnamese film-maker.
“I hope in the near future I will play a role in a joint venture between Vietnam and Korea. I will take part in the film not because I want to polish my name in Vietnam, but because I hope there will be a strong cooperative relationship in cinema between the two countries,” she said.
200 Pounds Beauty (??? ???) is a 2006 South Korean comedy. The story tells the tale about a large girl that undergoes an extreme makeover to become a pop singer

I just saw this movie a couple of days ago and I have to say that 200 Pounds Beauty is one of the best and funniest movie I’ve seen so far. Kim Ah Joong did well portraying the 2 Hannas.

All the people in Vietnam, from junior students to old guys, are fan of Korean movies, dramas and music (Kpop). We expect you to come to our country more often…
200 lbs beauty is a very good movie. Tickets for this movie are sold out these days. People even rent and bought pirate DVD to see this movie…
