South Korean pop idol and movie star Rain speaks during a press conference at the Bebelsberg motion picture studio in Germany on May 31, explaining about a new Holywood movie, “Speed Racer,” in which the singer-actor will play an Oriental car racer. Rain is KOREAN and Speed Racer is a JAPANESE cartoon…?
This is going to cause crap like Memoirs Of A Geisha did (chinese got upset that one of their stars was playing an “japanese whore” in their view, and the japanese thought it should be played by a japanese woman).
Aren’t there enough hot japanese idols out there (talent isnt important, they hired BI ferchrissakes) to play the part?
