It’s a good news for Yoon Eun Hye’s fans in Malaysia. Her romantic comedy, Coffee Prince, which was most-watched Korean dramas last year, start premiering on 8TV starting Feb 22 from Mondays to Fridays at 8.30pm. 8TV is also available on Astro’s Channel 708.
This 23-episode romantic drama is produced by well-known producer Lee Yoon-Jung and stars popular Korean actress Yoon Eun Hye, talented and good-looking actor Gong Yoo, Lee Sun Gyun and Chae Jung Ahn. Choi Han Kyul (played by Gong Yoo) is the son from a rich family who runs a food corporation. Being a very much a proud person, Choi does not believe in love and the thought of getting married is the last thing in his list of priorities, despite family pressure. Realising that her grandson refuses to marry, Choi’s grandmother often sets him up with blind dates in hope that he will find a girl to marry. However, her hard work does not pay off. Frustrated with her grandson, she then decides to punish him by making Choi in charge of a coffee shop that is in the midst of financial problems.
