Sympathy for Lady Lady Vengeance told us about a 19 years old young lady who is wrongly imprisoned for the kidnapping and murder of a young child on behalf of her accomplice Mr. Baek. In prison, she carefully prepares her revenge.
Years later, she sets out to seek revenge on Baek with help from her prison mate. “Sympathy for Lady Vengeance” was starred by Lee Young-ae.
Recently, it was revealed in KoreanMovie that this film is going to be remade with Charlize Theron as the main actress.
Well, i haven’t wathched the Korean version yet. Dont have any idea how great this movie was, but this movie won the Young Lion and Best Innovation awards at the 62nd Venice Film Festival. Hmm.. let’s see the Charlize Theron version, then :-D
