The 11th Seoul International Youth Film Festival

The SIYFF (Seoul International Youth Film Festival is the biggest youth film festival in Korea, nowadays. Since 1999, The Seoul International Youth Film Festival has provided a venue for youth to share their culture via films and media education. It grows to be a truly international youth film festival involving youngsters from home and abroad. Seoul International Youth Film Festival finds its meaning in discovering and developing originalities and individualities of youths and in helping them grow to be a strong pillar of Korean film in the future. It provides the opportunities for youths to experience the process of filmmaking and to communicate with each other through films. In 2009, SIYFF has an ambition to open a variety of programs to more teenagers, and hopes to lay the foundation of Korea Young Film Society. Master Class Lecture, Making Short Film, Film Critic Session, You can experience Korean culture and enjoy the camp days.

The 11th Seoul International Youth Film Festival this year will be held from July 09 to July 19, 2009, at Cheonggye Plaza, Seoul.

The festival will screen more than100 films from 37 countries at Seoul Cinema, focusing on family issues and children’s growth stories.
